2018 Feast Day – review

Well… the afternoon went in a flash!

Despite the chilly weather the Feast Day was very well attended, and there were lots of complimentary comments.

A picture paints a thousand word, so please click here to see the photos from the 2018 Feast.

Many thanks must go to the Sports Ground committee, and the committees of the Football Club and the Rugby Club for their continued support for the event.

Also many thanks go to Mike Holmes and his team for organising and setting up the field.

Also many thanks to Paul Goode who drove the shuttle bus during the afternoon.

There were many events run during the afternoon.

Two important events during the afternoon were a) the competition for the Feas Pudn and b) the drawing of the Buckby Feast Raffle.

The Feas Pudn is Long Buckby’s traditional pudding. If you want to find out more information about the Fees Pudn, please read the history and recipe:- Feas Pudn info and recipe

The prizes for the Buckby Feast Raffle was drawn at the end of the Feast events. Please visit the 2018 Raffle review tab (above) for a list of the winners… some prizes are still unclaimed!
