For 2015,the Buckby Feast organising committee took the decision to make the Feast day celebrations (usually on August Bank Holiday Monday ) a biennial event. In 2015 we held a cut-down version, and will again on alternate years.
However, this year (2016) will have a full schedule of events.
At the moment the events are still under planning/discussion, but we are hoping to run the following events:-
- Buckby Feast Quiz, on Wednesday 24th August 2016 at the Football Club. The time will be published when available.
- Buckby Feast Produce & Craft show, on Saturday 27th August 2016 at Long Buckby Community Centre.
- Open Gardens, on Sunday August 21st 2016. The DACT bus will run a shuttle from convenient points in the village. Further details will be available later.
- The main Buckby Feast, on Monday August 29th 2016 (Bank Holiday Monday). The Buckby Feast will take place on the Sports field.
- The Buckby Feast Raffle, the draw will take place at the end of Buckby Feast.
- The Feas Pudn competition, will take place during the Buckby Feast.
