Well, 2020 is nearly over and Covid-19 has caused widespread disruption to us all.
Of course, we have not been able to do many of the things that we would wish to have done… and that includes running the Long Buckby Feast. Hopefully we will be back again next year when this dreaded Covid-19 is a thing of the past. We are hoping to start the planning process in February 2021, however… the situation with Covid-19 will affect that date. We will update this website to let you know, when we have more details.
Meanwhile, there has been one piece of good news for the Buckby Feast finances. The Buckby Feast Trust has been chosen to benefit from the Co-op Local Community Fund.
When Co-op members buy Co-op own-brand products or services, 2p in every £1 goes to support local good causes. Co-op members can decide which group they would like to back by visiting www.coop.co.uk/membership.
If you are a member of the Co-op, and would like to help raise money for the Buckby Feast, then please consider adding the Buckby Feast Trust as your chosen charity.
Remember, all money raised by the Buckby Feast goes back to the village.
The Feast committee is a group of volunteers who organise the events for the benefit of all the village. The committee we will welcome suggestions and offers to help plan and run the Feast.
