This year we ran a Garage Sale for the second time. This was held on Sunday 25th August… and the weather was hot, hot, hot.
Many thanks to Hilary Tibbs for organising such a great event.
We had over 37 sellers around the village, and the event was enjoyed by many, many buyers. Over £640 was raised from sales of maps, garage opening fees, refreshments from URC and some additional donations. All the proceeds go to the Feast funds for the benefit of the village.
The majority of the garages had a good day but it was very hot & trade tailed off in the afternoon.
